IISR is an institute for research into Decolonizing The Mind. IISR publishes a book series title Decolonizing The Mind with Amrit Publishers. Hira studied economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in Holland. Sandew Hira, Prof. He has written 16 books on different topics among them colonial history. Stephen Small (University of California Berkeley) and Arzu Merali (Islamic Human Rights Commission) are the editors of the series. Hira is secretary of the Decolonial International Network Foundation (DIN).
