Interviews with Toussaint Losier, S’bu Zikode, Léa Tosold
This is the third set of interviews / discussions with contributors to Fanon Today: Reason and Revolt of the Wretched of the Earth, edited by Nigel C. Gibson and published by Daraja Press (https://darajapress.com/publication/f…). This time we will be speaking with Toussaint Losier, S’bu Zikode, Léa Tosold. Toussaint Losier is the author of the chapter Setting Afoot of a New People: Prison Intellectuals, New Afrikan Communism and the Making of Meditations on Frantz Fanon’s Wretched of the Earth. He teaches in the W.E.B. Du Bois Department of Afro-American Studies at University of Massachusetts-Amherst, USA. S’bu Zikode is the author of the chapter The Power of Abahlali and Our Living Politic Has Been Built with Our Blood. He is the president of the South African shack dwellers’ movement. Léa Tosold is the author of the chapter Territorializing Existence as Resistance: A Fanonian Reading on the Munduruku and the Riverside Peoples Collective Self-determination Processes in Amazonia. She teaches in the Political Sciences department of the University of São Paulo, Brazil. The interviews will be conducted by Nigel C Gibson and Firoze Manji, publisher of Daraja Press.
