For over three decades, she worked underground mobilizing women, training Adivasi youth in computers, and serving as a member of the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee.\r\nRenuka wrote prolifically under multiple pseudonyms (Midko, Vijje, Ajitha, Damayanti, Chaithe), producing stories, poems, essays, and field reports. Her works honestly depict women's evolution within the revolutionary movement\u2014their strengths, limitations, and sacrifices. On March 31, 2025, suffering from illness, she was captured by police in Bijapur district, brutally tortured, and shot dead on the banks of the Indravati River.
