Paul Kelemen b.1946 taught at Manchester University School of Social Sci- ences from 1976 until he retired in 2014. He has written mainly on colo- nialism and the labour movement and is the author of British Left and Zionism, History of a Divorce (MUP, 2012). He has been involved in a num- ber of anti-imperialist and antiracist campaigns and is active in the Sheffield Palestine Solidarity Campaign and in the Sheffield Palestine Cultural Exchange (SPaCE). The latter was set up, to organise Pales- tinian cultural events and to generate greater public awareness of the Palestinian national struggle.
